This serial is the spin-off of another superhit serial, Kumkum Bhagya. The storyline focuses on Arora family & Luthra Family mainly on Preeta, Karan & Rishab. While Rishab is a business tycoon, Karan is a famous cricketer who is flirt & careless. Both the Luthra & Arora families have the connections with Abhi’s family from Kumkum Bhagya.

Kundali Bhagya has much better & refreshing track than that of Kumkum Bhagya. Apart from its interesting storyline, all the characters are amazing in their roles. In a very short period, the serial has introduced many new characters. Along with the main leads, roles of other characters are equally important.
One major controversy arose when Pyomori Mehta (who plays bua of Karan) was unable to shoot her part regularly. As a result, makers decided to replace her.
