Season 1
While Pratham belongs to the renowned Mittal family, Gauri hails from a middle-class Aggarwal family. Both of them marries each other for the sake of their families happiness. This season ends with Gauri & Pratham falling for each other.
Season 2
In Kutumb 2, the characters, Gauri & Pratham are same but their stories are totally opposite as compared to the first season. In this season, Pratham is a rich spoilt who hates to study. On the other hand, Gauri is the topper of the college. Things got more interesting when both of them fall for each other.
