Zero released yesterday on 21st December with high expectations but couldn’t really perform on an expected note. Now, all eyes are on Zero 2nd day collection and the film has to witness a huge growth on Saturday to sustain well at the box office. Zero failed to receive positive reviews from the critics but the stardom of SRK compelled people to visit theaters. The advance of the film was at the 13th best of 2018 which eventually helped the film to earn Rs. 20.14 crores on Friday. Next two days are very crucial for the film and these two days would decide how well it would perform on the weekdays.
Next Two Days Crucial For Zero
Shahrukh Khan‘s Zero was in the news for a long time and all his fans were eagerly waiting for a blockbuster from the actor. But Zero first day collection couldn’t come out to be too strong despite getting a wide release. Since it is not an action film so even this much earning could contribute to the film’s success if it performs well on Saturday and Sunday. Being a solo Hindi release, Zero should take advantage of the weekend period and collection must be on a high note on its second day.
2nd Day Collection Early Estimates
Zero is more of a family film and it is expected to grow more on Saturday and Sunday. But Zero 2nd day collection would majorly depend on the public feedback. Seeing the performance of Zero on Friday, it is about to grow a little over 30% and its two-day earning would cross Rs. 40 crores mark after Saturday. It would be Sunday which would attract families into the theaters and the Christmas holiday benefit would also be there for the film. As soon as an update about the Zero’s collection is out, we will inform you right away.
Update: Zero witnessed a decline of 9% on the second day and collected Rs. 18.22 crores at the box office. However, a jump was expected from the film after underperforming on the first day. But this didn’t happen, instead Zero dwindled on Saturday. The situation is critical for the film and it has to gain momentum on Sunday to sustain over the weekdays.
