1921 2nd Week Collection, TZH Delivers Outstanding Performance

In the second week, all the holdover releases except 1921 performed poorly. The new films, namely Vodka Diaries, My Birthday Song, and Nirdosh turned out to be a disaster. On the other hand, last year release Tiger Zinda Hai earned good collection than other films. Let’s discuss 1921 2nd week collection and Tiger Zinda Hai 5th week Box Business at the box office.

Flop Show By New & Holdover Releases

Kaalakandi and Mukkabaaz fell drastically in their second week and earned very low collection. Only 1921 2nd week collection seems decent and it is expected to gross around Rs. 3.50. This would take the total earning of the film over Rs. 15 crores mark. It faced competition from Tiger Zinda Hai, which shows its dominance at the box office. Taking about the first week collection of Vodka Diaries, My Birthday Song, and Nirdosh then they failed to earn even decent amount.

Now, since Padmaavat has made its mark at the box office, so these holdover releases would not be able to perform well.

Tiger Zinda Hai 5th Week Collection

Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has maintained its strong performance in its 5th week. The film broke many records in its first four weeks at the box office and also set new ones. Its worldwide collection touches Rs 552 crores, which shows how strongly the audience is liking it from all over the world. TZH becomes the highest grosser of Salman Khan in India.

In its 5th week, TZH registered a good response from the moviegoers, and it is on the verge of crossing Rs. 6 crores in this week. The total collection of the film has been impressive and the number would cross Rs. 335 crores mark this Thursday. It would be interesting to see how it performs in front of Padmaavat, which has created a huge hype even before its release.

Secret Superstar Doing Well In China

Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar is doing a wonderful show in the Chinese market. The movie has grossed Rs. 264.61 in its first five days of its release in China. Aamir Khan’s earlier films Dangal and PK also did well in this new market. Well, it is very difficult to cross the Chinese box office collection of Dangal. But seeing the pace with which Secret Superstar is running, it may present a strong competition to it. On Monday and Tuesday, the film earned a very good collection, and it is expected to end its first week with around Rs. 290 crores.
