Aiyaary hit the theaters at the time when the holdover releases were doing well and also a new Hollywood release, Black Panther arrived at the box office. Under these conditions, a film only left with an option of taking a good start to ensure its long run. But this didn’t happen in the case of Aiyaary and also it failed to take even a good jump over the weekend. This led to a low first weekend total for the film.

Although Aiyaary failed to attract a good number of footfalls in the domestic market, it is performing well at the overseas box office. Aiyaary earned Rs. 6.09 crores over the first weekend in the international markets. Out of all places, it collected highest in North America and the value is Rs. 2.34 crores.
Now let’s talk about the expected Aiyaary Tuesday Collection. Aiyaary continued its poor performance on Monday and gathered 45% of its Friday Collection. On Tuesday, nothing new can be expected from Aiyaary and it would earn in the range Rs. 1.15 – 1.20 crores.
Black Panther started its journey with a good collection but earned decently over the first weekend. The movie performed well but it was less effective than other similar Hollywood movies released earlier in India. In the first three days at the box office, Black Panther earned Rs. 19.35 crores. Seeing the trend of the film on the weekend, it was expected to show big drop on Monday but this didn’t happen. Black Panther held well on Monday and earned Rs. 3.27 crores taking its total collection over Rs. 22.62 crores.
On Tuesday, Black Panther is going to remain steady and would only show decent fall over Monday Collection. Black Panther 5th day earnings would land in the range of Rs. 2.50 – 2.65 crores. Update: Aiyaary collected Rs. 1.10 crores on Tuesday and takes its total to Rs. 1.10 crores. Black Panther earned Rs. 2.69 crores on the 5th day and the sum is Rs. 25.62 crores.
