After Baby, Rustom and Airlift, Akshay Kumar has started shooting for another patriotic based movie ‘Gold’. Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold movie is based on Hockey and the shooting of its first schedule went on floor in the last week in London. The movie is all about India’s first Olympic medal won during 1948 just after the freedom. The first poster of the movie is revealed in which Akshay Kumar is suave in black and white.
Gold is been produced by Ritesh Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar, so it is the first collaboration of this two men with Akshay Kumar. The other cast of Gold is Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Vineet Singh. This is also the first time Mouni Roy is pairing up with Akshay Kumar. Mouni Roy also shared her recent picture in a dancing pose. So, fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to hit theaters.
Reema Kagti, the director of the movie has gone to say that sports is what can unite people seamlessly and she was inspired greatly by the win of our nation at the 48th Olympic. So, she wanted to narrate the story quite for a while and finally, the time has come now.
