Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor were seen together in the movie Bhootnath Returns (2014), but it was a very small cameo role played by Ranbir. And now Ayan Mukherjee is all set to bring them together in his next movie tentatively titled as ‘Dragon’. Big B has already offered his consent for the movie where he will be playing a pivotal role.
This is the third collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherjee after a long gap of four years. The duo worked together four years back in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and earlier in Wake Up Sid.
So, this is the first time Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen together in a movie. The movie will also have Alia Bhatt in lead roles. As stated by the Director, Ranbir will be portrayed in the movie as a man with special power who has some mysterious connection with the fire and this has made him choose the title as ‘Dragon’. However, the title is not confirmed yet, it is just a tentative one.
The shooting of the movie is expected to take off by August of the running year.
