Anushka played a very tough competition for grabbing this role from the Diva’s of the Bollywood like Deepika Padukone and Parineeti Chopra as the movie makers were looking for an actress with a sporty physique.
The actress devoted a lot for the movie as she was taking professional wrestling training from last 2 months to give the real essence of the character on the reel. The actress also feels really blessed that she captured a major role against Salman Khan and also shared that She couldn’t believe that she will gonna be so perfect in wrestling within 2 months of training.
The film is based on the biopic of the great wrestler Sultan Ali Khan. The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra under the YRF banner. And the movie is scheduled to release on the occasion of Eid, this year.
