Before Anushka Sharma, the filmmakers wanted Kareena Kapoor to play a female lead in the upcoming project Zero. Zero is directed by Anand L Rai which includes two female leads opposite King Khan. Katrina Kaif & Anushka Sharma will be seen playing the female leads. This film is slated to go on the floors on 21st of December this year.
The filmmakers first approached Kareena Kapoor. Unfortunately, she turned them down. According to some sources, the actress wanted to rest properly after the birth of Taimur. She wanted to focus more on her health. So, she decided to keep herself less involved in her work. Also, she was already working on Veere Di Wedding. So, the actress didn’t want to take more stress of work post motherhood.
After this, the makers decided to approach Anushka Sharma & bring back the cast of Jab Tak Hai Jaan back again. She immediately nodded & started working with her favorite co-stars.
