Another best-selling novel of Chetan Bhagat is going to hit the theaters. This time, it’s “Half girlfriend”. After the success of 2 States, this Indian English, coming of age movie was announced with Arjun Kapoor. Let’s see what Mohit Suri gifts us with his wonderful direction. The film is expected to be released on April 28, 2017.
Half Girlfriend will be starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Arjun is busy these days with the promotion of his new film Ki and Ka. He said in an interview that Half Girlfriend will finish shooting by the end of this year.
‘Half Girlfriend’ is an Indian love story of a low cast Bihari boy and an upper-class girl. Based on how English outlines a class system, the book also says about Madhav who wants to be in a relationship with a high-class, urban and English speaking girl Riya, but Riya does not show interest in commitment. So, she chooses to be his half girlfriend.
The film will be produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Chetan Bhagat and Mohit Suri.
