Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania opened on a very good note with around 35% occupancy in the morning show. Great growth is been noticed in the evening show. The movie opened in around 3000 screens and performed really well on the single and multi screen both which has helped it to rake a business of Rs. 12.30 crores on the opening day.
This is third movie in which Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have collaborated together after Student Of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. As usual their on screen chemistry is wonderful and the performance of both the actors has impressed everyone. Audiences have loved the story which is very fresh and highly entertaining to all. Critics too have offered positive reviews while the flawless direction of Shashank Khaitan is been praised by all.
So, this Karan Johar’s venture has finally been able to garner a good business that created high buzz and lots of expectation was there from the fans and audiences. Monday is a holiday for Holi, so it is expected the movie will do much better in this 3 days extended weekend which will definitely help it enter into the profit zone.
