Dangal is super duper huge in 4th weekend. The film has now exceeded expectations. There were two new releases which were expected to pick up on Saturday & Sunday, while Dangal was expected to show limited growth.
But Dangal has been unbelievable. The 4th Friday came at 1.90 crores, which is a decent figure. But what is awesome that Saturday jumped to Rs. 4.05 crores net. And 4th Sunday collections were even better with 4.25 crores net. This growth was present despite the India vs England cricket match which affected all movie this Sunday. This is a fantastic improvement and shows how well the movie has been received by the public and is gaining repeated footfalls.
The Total Fourth Weekend Box Office Collection stands at Rs. 10.2 crores net. Earlier we said It couldn’t break 3 Idiots‘ 4th Week Record, but if this pace is continued, anything can happen!
The competition from OK Jaanu and xXx: The Return of Xander cage is strong, but apparently not strong enough. The weekdays for Dangal should be as if there is no competition. The fourth-week earnings are looking to stand around 16-17 crores net.
Dangal has reached a massive total of $28 Million (Rs. 190 crores +) in the international markets. The film is doing really well and is all set to cross the mark of 200 crores very soon.
