The movie failed to receive positive reviews from the critics and also due to bad word of mouth, it started its journey on a low note.
Also, considering the fan following of Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez, the film A Gentleman was expected to undergo recovery on subsequent days but it didn’t happen. The film failed to cross even 15 crores mark. So, the clear picture of its first-week journey is narrated by its first 4 days performance at the box office and it is heading towards the well of flop films.
