After creating a big hype because of its trailer and songs before its release, the film A Gentleman started its journey with a poor show. The film failed to collect a good sum of money on its maiden day and disappointed the audience in a surprising manner.
The film was expected to take a jump on Saturday and Sunday but contrary to our expectations the film, A Gentleman failed to entertain the audience and its performance remained low on these two days. The performance is definitely not what the audience expected taking into account the glamorous personality and track record of both Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandes.
The film is also facing a stiff competition from other films like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, and newly released Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. The chances for its improvement are very low and as earlier stated it is expected to fall in the category of flop films of this year.

Updated: The Tuesday Collection is available now and the film earned Rs. 1.60 crores on Tuesday taking its earnings to Rs. 16.76 crores.
