Amitabh Bachchan’s Don during 1978 was a blockbuster that amused the audiences highly and it made the director-producer Farhan Akhtar come out with a remake of that movie in 2006. The remake featured Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role that was also a great hit. After this, the second installment of Don, Don 2 has been made in 2011 and now it is the third installment Don 3 that is awaiting.
The co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani has stated that Don 3 is back on track finally and they have some idea while the story is already been written. The announcement will be made very soon. However, it is not confirmed if the same cast will be there in Don 3 or else it will be directed produced by the same director Farhan Akhtar.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s joint production company Excel Entertainment acquired the rights of 1978’s Don after which they came out with Don and Don 2. Both the movies were super hit while everyone liked Shah Rukh Khan as Don greatly. So, get ready to have the third installment of Don soon that too might feature Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
