Shraddha Kapoor starrer Haseena Parkar released this Friday at the box office. The film created a lot of buzz because of its new release date. A leading critic of Bollywood, Rajeev Masand, writes the transformation of Haseena from submissive, uneducated personality to powerful, and an intimidating figure is half-baked and strictly surface level. He says the script of the film could have written in a better way. 

Komal Nahta says the film failed to touch the hearts of the audience hence is not expected to get a good commercial value at the box office. The good part of the film is writing of the writer and more importantly, it is the choice of the subject by the writer and director which played an important role in not moving the audience from its seats.

Saibal from NDTV says the film is a dreamy courtroom drama in which the protagonist is hauled before the law to defend herself against grave criminal charges. 

Rohit from Hindustan Times says the efforts to present Shraddha Kapoor as menacing mob – boss fails because she appears misfit in it. The tone of the film is another big problem, the director keeps switching the film between a period film and a stylish film which completely failed the film.

Renuka from Times Of India says the film is a dissapointigly shallow biopic. The film is difficult to understand for the audience and is poorly written, acted, and executed film.

So, we can clearly see that it has received poor reviews from the critics and hence is unlikely to do good business at the box office.
