The last three films of the franchise had earned an excellent first day collection. But the fourth film, Hate Story 4 failed to get even a decent opening at the box office. The film didn’t get a positive critic’s reviews and also it faced difficulty in attracting a good amount of footfalls to its theaters.

Hate Story 3 got a huge opening and turned out to be the most successful film of the franchise. However, Hate Story 4 couldn’t manage to cross even collection of Hate Story 2 on its first day. Hate Story 4 has to make an excellent progress on its day 2 to make itself count at the box office. It’s crucial for the film to face the competition from the holdover release, SKTKS effectively.
