Hindi Medium and Half Girlfriend, the two Hindi release of the last week has already entered into weekdays after completing the weekend on a good note. While Hindi Medium has been opened in more than 2500 screens the other movie has opened in 1126 screens. So, it is quite normal for Hindi Medium to garner less business than Half Girlfriend.
Saket Chaudhary’s directorial Hindi Medium has collected around Rs. 2.80 crores on its 5th day while the Mohit Suri directorial has managed to collect the amount Rs. 4.60 crores. Half Girlfriend even though opened on a positive note but failed to witness growth on the weekend and saw huge fall in footstep in the weekdays. But things are reverse for the other movie Half Girlfriend. It opened on an average note and witnessed great growth on the weekend and weekdays.
The total domestic collection of Half Girlfriend till 5th day is Rs. 41.75 crores while Hindi Medium made it to the Rs. 18.51 crores.
Irfan Khan’s performance in Hindi Medium is excellent as usual while the Pakistani actress Saba Qamar too did it brilliantly. On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor performed well in Half Girlfriend.
