JHMS Review By All Leading Critics

Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s much-awaited film has released today at the box office. The film created a lot of buzz because of its mini trailers and songs. JHMS also received a handsome collection  via advance booking.

According to Mid-day, the film has genuinely cool encounters between the two love birds but these are too spaced out which leads the two lovers to nowhere. The locations of the shooting are very good and scenic but the flirty exchanges between the two lovers result in nothing. The film is a big disappointment for the fans of Shahrukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali.

According to the leading critic Taran Adarsh, the film is not impressive. Although the performance of the two stars is good, the screenplay of the film is boring. The film is shot at stunning locations but the script of the film is not good.

Meena Iyer of Times of India said the film has the same old script as that in all the earlier films of Imtiaz Ali. The only thing that can enhance its collection is the star-power of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are looking in top-form in their Punjabi and Gujarati avatars but the chemistry between them is not crackling.

Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV describes the first half of the film as breezy but unabashedly banal and the second half is riddled with toe-curling romantic mush.  According to him, Jab Harry Met Sejal is a directionless film by Imtiaz Ali.
