Kaabil had a rock solid day 2 at the box office and it looks like the word of mouth is doing the positive promotion of the film. On any normal scenario and as earlier predicted by us, Kaabil was looking at a 2nd day of 15 crores. But with the positivity around the film Kaabil has managed a second day of huge Rs. 18.67 cr net. The total collection in 2 days has now reached Rs. 29.10 crores.
The upcoming 3 days for this Hrithik Roshan starrer are looking solid and the film should drop less. Although Friday will be a real test for the movie to see how much it is able to hold up.
Raees is doing great business as well. The film which was already very high on its opening day, collected another huge Rs. 26.3 crores net on Thursday taking its total to Rs. 46.72 crores net. This is fantastic considering the film opened up with a major competition and is still doing good business.
Interesting Fact: The total collections of Raees and Kaabil combined on Thursday was Rs 44.97 crores, and it was the single highest day in Bollywood box office history.
Both movies are looking good and will continue to do great business in the coming days. Its a great start for all Distributors and theatre owners.
