The race between Kaabil and Raees continues till date while both the movies successfully completed second week and already entered into the third weekend. While Shah Rukh Khan featuring Raees performed well in the first week but it was Hrithik’s Kaabil to take the lead position in the second week. However, Raees is ahead in the race as of now collecting a total number of Rs. 161.91 crores. The movie’s 3rd Friday collection is Rs. 1.05 crores while the total second week collection stands at Rs. 38.60 crores. Also, this is the first movie of 2017 to reach 100 crores club.
Coming to the next movie Kaabil, this one too is performing well in the box office raking the business to Rs. 130.27 crores till date. It has collected Rs. 1.11 crores on its 3rd Friday while the total second week collection of the movie is Rs. 38.62 crores.
Kaabil is also doing good business in Pakistan as it is the first film to hit Pakistani theatres after that ban on Indian films while Raees could not take the similar advantage as it was banned again in Pakistan due to some other reasons.
