Raees and Kaabil both enjoyed a good first week at the box office. Raees Enjoyed it a little more. But nonetheless, both movies saw a very positive trend at the box office. The clash between Kaabil and Raees seems interesting as the daily gap between collections of Raees and Kaabil reducing.
It will be an interesting observation to see which movie leads the second weekend. As the hype is now neutralized and only word of mouth is taking these movies forward.
The 1st Extended Week(9 days) of Kaabil was Rs. 89 crores net and its a very decent figure and the film is likely to cross the 100 crore mark in the 2nd weekend itself. Kaabil which started similar to Mohenjodaro has surpassed it by a significant amount. Kaabil can be called a Semi hit right now, considering It has a low budget.
The First Week Collections of Raees came at Rs 122 crores net. This is relatively higher the previous movies of Shah Rukh Khan if we take in the trending factor. The film is also looking at a great weekend ahead and may settle at 160 crores for final lifetime collections.
