Balki directed “Ki & Ka” is the only movie to release this week. The film may arrive at around 1600-1700 screens across India and 500 in overseas which is a very fair release size for a film of such romantic-comedy genre.
The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, which may take a very decent opening on this Friday with an occupancy of around 40-50%. As a romantic-comedy movie, the footsteps in evening and night shows are very important and would play a key role in the success.
But as the film is the solo release of the week, the Kapoor & Sons are hoping a great success. As a matter of business perspective, the film may do well as the 30 crore budget film has already grossed 13 crores via satellite and sales of ancillary rights.
