Action star Jackie Chan’s Indo-Chinese venture Kung Fu Yoga already entered Rs. 1200 crores club in the box office to surprise all. The movie is doing extremely well in the actor’s home country China and audiences accepted it highly. Even though the movie failed to earn less than Rs. 4 crores also in India on its opening day, but overall the movie is a big hit that has managed to collect $179 million in American dollars.
It’s really great to hear that a Sonu Sood movie has beat all other movies like Raees, Kaabil and Sultan by quickly entering 1200 crores club. Jackie Chan came to India to promote his movie here and appeared in the Kapil Sharma show along with Sonu Sood. While the audiences preferred other movies over Kung Fu Yoga, it did not receive good reviews as well from the critics.
However, nothing does matter now as the filmmakers are really happy with such great box office collection. While the Bollywood movies struggle to reach even 100 crores club sometimes, Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood starring Indo-Chinese venture proved that reaching 1000 crores club does not matter to them at all.
