Omerta First Day Collection – Poor Earning on Day 1

Rajkummar Rao’s Omerta has hit the theatres today on 4th of May. The movie is a crime based documentary and its trailer has received positive reviews from the audience. Rajkummar Rao is playing the lead role in this film and he is going to be seen in a completely new avatar from his previous films. This is a non-masala film and it has to take an excellent opening to earn a good amount of money at the box office. Omerta first day collection early estimates are given below.

The actor, Rajkummar Rao is known for his superb acting and has received many accolades for his work in the Hindi film industry. He has mostly acted in the non-masala films and contributed a lot to the success of his movies at the box office. His last year release, Newton received a positive response from the critics as well as the audience. It was also nominated for Oscar award. Here are the last few films of the actor:

Omerta has to compete effectively with the other films, Avengers Infinity War and 102 Not Out. The holdover release, Avengers Infinity War is minting a huge amount of money at the box office. It would be a big challenge for Omerta to survive against the Hollywood flick. Also, in the southern region, a new Telugu movie of the famous actor Allu Arjun is releasing today. So, Omerta has a little chance in the Southern region.

Rajkummar Rao’s film, Omerta, has got a low occupancy in the morning shows. However, this is not a new thing for his films. All his films start with a low earning but later collect a decent earning at the box office. Omerta first day collection is expected to around Rs. 1 crores since this is not an entertaining film.
