No Effect of Competiton

Last Friday, a new release Padman arrived at the box office and presented a good competition for Padmaavat. But this didn’t affect Padmaavat in any way. The film showed humongous growth over the third weekend and its total crossed Rs. 250 crores. Had it gets a clean release, the film would have set new records at the box office. Despite the less number of screening and a complete ban at some places, Padmaavat has performed outstandingly well.

Padmaavat has not only pumped up the box office career of its star cast but also turned out to be the best film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali till date. Its overseas and worldwide collection also placed it in the list of high-rated films.

3rd Monday Early Estimates

Padmaavat has managed to maintain itself at the box office since its release. The film didn’t witness any major fall on any day and broke many records at the box office. Even on the third weekend, it earned Rs. 17.80 crores and did not show a big drop from the last weekend. Since there are holidays on the weekdays so it would benefit the film in raising its collection. And on its 3rd Monday, it would show super strong trending and its collection should land in the range Rs. 2.50 – 3 crores.
