Padmavat 5th Day Collection – Monday Drop is 40% of Opening

After enjoying a wonderful first four days at the box office, Padmavat has entered into the weekdays. And it is very important for the film to perform well on the coming days to recover its production cost. The film took advantage of the extended first weekend and earned a good number. Seeing the stronghold of the film, it is most likely to do wonders in the theaters. Let’s have a look at Padmavat 5th day collection early estimates in details.

Stronghold on the Opening Days

Padmaavat showed to its critics, why it surpassed all the hurdles posed in its path of release. The film released and did exceptionally well in its first weekend. By all means, the film managed to attract a large number of footfalls and receives love from the audience in big chunks. It has not only set an example for other films but also provided a kick to film career of its star cast.

Rocked in the international markets

The movie delivers wonderful performance not only in the domestic market but also in the international theaters. Main reasons for this are the strong fan base of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the worthinesses of the film. In North America, Padmaavat earned highest single day among all Hindi films till date.

It surpassed hit films like PK, Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom3 in US and Canada. Padmaavat also delivers spectacular performance in Australia and UK. Talking about the numbers, it has surpassed the mark of Rs. 200 crores in the overseas market.

5th day Early Estimates

Padmaavat received an enormous response from the audience in its first weekend. Adding paid previews collection to its first four days earnings, it has collected Rs. 113 crores. Had it been a peaceful release, this number could have been around Rs. 150 crores. Also, it remained strong at some of the places, where it was expected to slow down. Seeing the stronghold of the film, it is expected to do well in the coming weekdays. Padmavat 5th day collection is most likely to remain strong and it would hover around 11 to 13 crores, which in other words means around 40% drop from its opening day.

It is no surprise that to recover its production cost, Padmaavat has to sail strongly in the next few days. Also, since it has got 10 more days before the new releases, so the film should not face any difficulty to earn a good collection in these days. More updates about the collection will be made available soon.

Update: The film holds well on Monday and collected Rs.15 crores. This takes its total box office collection to Rs. 129 crores.
