Padmavat to have Another Rs 30 crores plus day on Sunday

Padmavat is on a roll at the box office. The 4th day of this film falls on another Holiday and it’s going to bring in major cash for this film at the box office. But before we dive further into analysing what Sunday Collection of Padmavati look like, let’s see how the film has performed till now.

• Wednesday (Paid Previews) – Rs. 5 crores
• Thursday – Rs. 19 crores
• Friday – Rs. 32 crores
• Saturday – Rs. 27 crores
• Total – Rs. 83 crores net

This clearly indicates that the first extended weekend for this film would result in a collection of over Rs. 110 crores net and is a pretty solid figure for the opening of this film. The Huge Rs. 190 crore Budget of Padmavati requires a strong opening of this sort.

11 More Days to recover its budget

After this Padmavati has around 11 more days until the release of Padman to recover all its budget through box office collection. Otherwise, the film will be depending on the sale of  Satelite rights and other sources.

Monday will definitely be a crucial test for Padmavat and it will be interesting to see how well the film is able to hold up at the box office. Any amount greater than 11 crores would mean major success for Padmavat. Because if the film is able to add around Rs. 35 to 40 crores during the weekdays, then we could be assured of 150 crores the first week, which is a solid total.

Padmavat has started very well on Sunday. The film has been given shows in many new theaters now which had earlier blocked the film. The no. of shows have significantly increased in UP, Bihar and a few other states and is helping the film a lot.
