Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran Movie Review

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is releasing tomorrow on 25 May 2018. The film stars John Abraham and Diana Penty in the lead roles. It is a true story movie based on India’s first nuclear test that was conducted in the year 1998. The trailer of the film has already created a lot of buzz before its release. Its songs are based on both patriotic as well as romantic taste. And all the songs have also been receiving a positive response from the listeners.

John Abraham and Diana Penty’s film faced a lot of trouble before getting a nod from the court for its release. It underwent a lot of delays due to its sensitive issue but finally managed to get consent from higher authorities to hit the theatres on 25 May 2018. Various hidden facts about the nuclear test team of India are revealed in this movie. And it is a tribute to the Indian Army as well as the team of scientists who worked exceptionally well to make achieve success in testing a nuclear bomb. Acting

John Abraham is simply impressing everyone in his new look. He has an excellent experience of playing such roles in the past and this time too, he has delivered a great performance on his part. Diana Penty is seen in a completely different avatar and she has done a complete justice to her role in the film. Boman Irani, as we all know, is known for his genuine acting. He has maintained it again in this film.

Music

All the songs of the movie, Pokhran: The Story of Pokhran have already become popular among the listeners. Most of the songs are based on patriotism and give goosebumps when you listen to them in sync with the movie. Also, it contains romantic songs and makes the music of the film balanced. The music directors, namely Sachin-Jigar, Jeet Ganguli, and Sandeep Chowta have done a wonderful job.

Story

The Story of Pokhran is based on a true event and it has been presented in an intelligent way on the big screen. You will come to know a lot more new things about India’s first nuclear test than you already are aware of. The excellent presentation of its story would keep you tied to your seats till the end and will not allow you to take your attention away from the theatre screen. Also, the speed of the progress of film is simply perfect and the climax of the movie would simply amaze you to ask for more.

Direction

The director, Abhishek Sharma has come up with a very different film this time. Earlier, he had directed comedy films namely, The Shaukeens, Tere Bin Laden, Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho, etc. But in this film, despite being a completely different film, he has done a great work and gave a wonderful film for the audience to watch.

Overall, we can say that Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is a wonderful film that fills you with emotions of patriotism and love. It inspires one to live for the country and give your everything for the welfare of the nation.
