After Receiving Mediocre reviews from Critics and Viewers alike, Raabta Wasn’t able to hold up at the box office. There was no Significant increase in its earnings at all. The film which collected around Rs. 5.61 crores net on Friday, managed to show a tiny Jump and Raabta Saturday Box Office Collections came in at Rs. 5.4 crores net as per confirmed sources.
The film is likely to suffer again on Sunday as there isn’t going to be a Major jump due to the India vs South Africa Cricket Match. It will affect its performance in the evening shows which is best time for a movie to generate Revenue. Nonetheless, the film is expected to do well in shows up till 4 PM. The Sunday Collections are Rs. 5.91 crore net (confirmed). This amounts to a First Weekend figure of around 16 crores.
After coming out of a Controversy with Magadheera, it was expected that the film would do well because of the publicity it received. But that was clearly not the case and the film became a disappointing venture for both its lead stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon who had blockbusters as their previous films.
This Movie is a complete washout, and wouldn’t be able to cross Rs. 1 crore net for the weekend. This is sad and gone.
