Raees & Kaabil Take Good Opening at Box Office

And the day for which we all have been waiting for as arrive. The Box office opening reports for both Raees and Kaabil are in from major cities. Both the movies have taken a very positive start and are looking to improve as the day progresses.

While Raees was Housefull in a few single screens just from advance bookings, Kaabil managed to perform equally strongly as Raees in Multiple Advance bookings. This absolutely doesn’t mean Kaabil is not doing well at single screens. It’s a little behind Raees is the least that can be said.

Early Wednesday Morning Opening Occupancy reports have come in and its fantastic. Raees has an average rate of 60% occupancy while Kaabil just behind at 55%. Both these movies are toe to toe at Multiplexes, where average occupancy for the morning show is 50%. This is much much better than most recent movies and the graph is going upwards from here.

Both movies are looking at a Rs. 15 crores first day collection if the pace continues and improves. The reviews for Kaabil and Raees were both released yesterday and the response is positive for both the movies. It has been a long time since we have seen two movies, where both have widely positive reviews clash at the box office.
