Ajay Devgn’s Raid earned an excellent amount on its opening day and has taken a positive start at the box office. The film opened decently but picked up the pace after the morning shows. Now, Raid Saturday Collection would witness a good growth as is a trend on every second day. Here are the early estimates for Raid second day.
Raid has performed similar to Padman but the latter was released on less number of screens. But Padman had Padmaavat as a strong competitor while this is not the case with Raid. Also, the main problem for the Padman was its subject. Most of the families decided not to watch the film because of their different subject. Now, after taking a good start, it is imperative for Raid to carry it forward. It is only the family audience that would make a difference between the collection of the two movies.
Raid would witness an excellent growth on its day 2 as it is Saturday and would collect over Rs.13 crores at the box office. The positive reviews from the critics and word of mouth of the audience would benefit the film and it would earn a humongous amount over the first weekend. Also, the only holdover release film, SKTKS is doing well and that too is in its fourth week. No big release is there to present a stiff competition for Raid. So, it has a good chance to perform well in the coming days and weekdays would be crucial to judge its performance at the box office.
Update: Raid witnessed a jump of around 38% and collected Rs. 13.86 crores on Saturday.
