Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt Pairs Up for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’

After pairing up for a few quirky commercials for a travel brand, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are all set to sizzle up as the new ‘filmy jodi’ of silver screen. The duo have been signed for Farhan Akhtar – Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment new production ‘Gully Boy’.

Though ‘Gully Boy’ makes up an interesting title, we have no clue about the storyline of this new directorial venture of Zoya Akhtar. All we hear is that the film’s shooting will start in November this year, and that Zoya Akhtar’s recently launched banner Tiger Baby will co-produce the film.

The film is already started generating buzz for its title and Ranveer-Alia’s first big-screen sharing.

This will be Ranveer’s second project with Zoya. She has already directed him in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ star is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ while Alia is busy with ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’ which is a second installment of ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’ franchise. The film is set to release in March this year.
