Rocky Handsome failed to hold up at the box office. This medium budget film starring John Abraham, opened decently. But lack of positive word of mouth took this film downhill at the box office. The film collected very poorly over the course of weekdays. It was hit by multiple cricket matches, but still its no excuse for the poor performance.
The Film collected a Poor Figure of Rs. 23 crores net at the box office. This would mean the film would loose some money if it were to depend completely on box office. Satellite prices are not known at the time. But, they would surely help in avoiding losses.
It can be said that, the A rating given to the film could also be a major factor for this performance.
Overall, it seems very difficult for this film to proceed at the box office, and a final figure 26-27 crores seems apt for this film.
