Sachin: A Billion Dreams is performing well in the domestic as well as overseas market. The movie has started the journey on a good note and collected favorable reviews from the audiences and critics to become the 7th highest opening of the year in Bollywood so far. While the weekend collection was no doubt impressive the movie is running successfully in the weekdays also. However, it is quite obvious to witness some drop in occupancy in the weekdays.
The movie has collected Rs. 4.20 crores Monday while Tuesday witnessed some more drop in the footfalls to fetch an amount of Rs. 3.75 crores. Thus the total domestic collection till date is Rs. 36 crores.
Sachin: A Billion Dreams is an excellent docudrama based on the life story of Cricket’s God Sachin Tendulkar. Everything is reflected in the movie starting from his childhood, how he became such an amazing cricketer, the ups and down he faced in his life journey etc.
The movie is doing extremely well despite facing competition from other Hindi movies such as Hindi Medium, Bahubali 2 and Half Girlfriend while all of them are running successfully in the theatre.
