Diljit Dosanjh’s movie started its journey at the box office on a decent note and could not get a solid start. The movie showed a decent growth of 25% on Saturday. But the film witnessed a good jump on Sunday to take its total over Rs. 4 crores. Well, the film received positive reviews from the audience and critics. Also, it also gathered an excellent response to its trailer. The charisma of Diljit didn’t work this type for this war film based on true events of World War 1.
Sajjan Singh Rangroot was promoted well before its release still it didn’t get the expected response on its opening day. The release date of the movie was also chosen intelligently on the Shaheedi Divas of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev to appeal strongly to the audience.
