Salman’s opinion on ‘Tubelight’ breaking the records of ‘Dangal’ and ‘Baahubali 2’

Salman Khan-starrer ‘Tubelight‘ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie is scheduled to release on June 23, and people are expecting it to create a history at the theaters. Both the masterpiece, ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ and Aamir Khan ‘Dangal’ are setting a new standard by breaking the records and creating the new ones at the box office. So, at a recent promotional event, when Salman was asked about breaking the records of both the films, his response completely surprised us.

On asking whether his movie ‘Tubelight’ will break the records of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ and ‘Dangal’, Salman said ‘Both Baahubali 2’and ‘Dangal’are both good movies. There is still time for me to break their record at the box office”. On interpreting his response, one can say that Salman is not that confident with his film.

Director Kabir Khan said that they have taken the germ of the idea from 2015 ‘Little Boy’ and made it according to their sensibilities. Also, they have made it in the context of their own history, the director said. The Trailor which released a few days back was surely soul touching and gives us a bromance vibes. Both Salman and Sohail Khan nailed the trailer with their innocence and liveliness of their acting. The released song ‘Sajan Radio’ won hearts with its beat and the second song ‘Naach Meri Jaan’ from the film celebrates ‘Bhaihood’.The song features Salman Khan and Sohail Khan dancing in a free and casual way.

Thanks to the festival of Eid, ‘Tubelight’ will surely get a good response at the box office. But it will be interesting to see what kind of opening this film gets as it will be hitting the screens during the Ramzan period.
