Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar released on Diwali with high hopes. It is produced by Aamir Khan and is directed by a debutant director Advaint Chauhan. The film received a low collection on its first day and it collected Rs. 4.80 crores in its pocket.
The reason for its release on Diwali might be to attract a positive word of mouth from one extra day of Friday. But the stiff competition from Golmaal Again is definitely going to have a major impact on its collection. Since it is not a comedy entertainment so the audience generally prefers Golmaal Again over Secret Superstar during festival season.
