Kangana Ranaut’s Simran and Farhan Akhtar’s Lucknow Central released this Friday and gets average box office opening. Both the films managed to take a jump on its subsequent days but to get a respectable lifetime collection, they need to perform exceptionally well on the weekdays. Let’s have a look at the box office collection of both the films till now.
Simran started its journey on a low note but managed to register a growth on Saturday and Sunday.Although, on Sunday it failed to register a good growth due to a one-day international match between India and Australia. Kangana Ranaut‘s performance is superb in this film and she has managed to entertain the audience to the fullest.
Total – Rs. 12.30 crores (Expected)
Update: On Monday, the film collected a little less than our expectations and earned Rs. 1.41 crores which take its first four-day collection to Rs. 12.06 crores.
Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central started its journey on a low note but has registered a growth of 38.24% on Saturday and On Sunday, it has registered a growth of 26.24% from Saturday. To make it to the respectable place on the box office collection chart, it is now imperative for the film to perform exceptionally well on the weekdays.
Total – Rs. 12.60 crores (Expected)
Update: The film collected Rs. 1.52 crores on Monday which take its first four-day collection to Rs. 9.94 crores.
