SKTKS (3rd Friday) and Pari (8th Day) Collection

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has completed its first two weeks in a successful manner and enters its week 3. The film has new films to present a stiff competition in the theaters. This Friday, Hate Story IV is hitting the theaters and so it would be a strong battle between the two films. The last week release, Pari failed to perform well in the first week and would find it difficult to survive this week at the box office. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 3rd Friday Collection Early Estimates

SKTKS has already crossed the mark of Rs. 75 crores in its first two weeks and this is a big achievement for a low budget film. Now, in the third week, it is going to compete with Hate Story IV, the fourth film of the successful franchise, Hate Story. Seeing the stronghold of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, it is unlikely to get affected much due to the new films. Also, this week, it would easily surpass the lifetime collection of Fukrey Returns.

The performance of the film in the third weekend would play an important role in deciding its lifetime collection. It needs to earn a good number in the coming weeks to cross the mark of Rs. 100 crores. And if it manages to do so, then it will become the first non-cast film to achieve this feat.

On its third Friday, it would earn around Rs. 2.20-2.40 crores hence would not witness a major fall over the previous day.

Pari 8th Day Collection – Poor Show Continues

Anushka Sharma’ Pari failed to impress the moviegoers in its first week and just managed to cross the mark of Rs. 20 crores. There were huge expectations from the movie before its release. But it could not manage to hold well and found it difficult to compete with SKTKS. In the second week, the film would not show much variation in its collection on its 8th day and earn less money.
