Dum Laga Ke Haisha writer-director Sharat Katariya and producer Maneesh Sharma have come together for yet another interesting project named “Sui Dhaaga – Made In India“. This is also the maiden film of Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan with each other. Both Anushka and Varun have revealed its release date and plot in an interesting way on Twitter. The title of the movie is raising curiosity among people.
The last release in collaboration of Sharat and Maneesh namely “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” had performed exceptionally well at the box office. The film had won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi and mainstream film awards. Their next project in collaboration is “Sui Dhaaga”, which revolves around social initiatives and Make In India initiative of the Indian government. This is a heartwarming story of pride and self-reliance.
Varun is very excited to take forward our PM’s Made in India message. In regards to this movie, he said, “From Gandhiji to Modiji, our country’s leaders have always endorsed the mantra of Made in India. With Sui Dhaaga I am proud to take their message to millions of movie lovers in a manner that is entertaining and relevant. I really liked the script Sharat had written and I am happy that I am teaming up with YRF on this movie. Anushka and I are teaming up for the first time so I am sure there will be fireworks.”
Anushka Sharma believes in this unique concept and has a trust that this movie will connect to the audience deeper. “I always get excited with unique ideas that have human interest stories. Sui Dhaaga is a story of self-reliance that I believe will connect to the grassroots level with every Indian. Shooting for this project will start in January 2018 and it is slated to release on Gandhi Jayanti 2018. This news has filled the audience with excitement. With so many details about the movie, all eyes will be on Anushka and Varun’s maiden performance together.
