With its super strong opening, the film got the start that every new film desires to earn handsome box office collection. In its first weekend, TZH earned well and crossed the mark of Rs. 100 crores. On Monday, it utilised the Christmas holiday and attracted a large number of footfalls to the theaters. TZH has performed much better than Ek Tha Tiger and the audience really enjoyed the action in the film. Dil Diyan Gallan Song from the film, which is sung by Atif Aslam has received laurels from the audience and has displayed Katrina and Salman in a romantic mood.
It crossed Rs. 150 crores mark on Monday and showed similar trending on Tuesday. Now, it is on the path of becoming the second Hindi film after Sultan to cross the mark of Rs. 200 crores in the first week. Both Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai got an extended weekend due to holidays but the later managed to utilise it more effectively.
Till now, it has crossed the mark of Rs. 170 crores and if it performs on a similar note in the coming days then it would bring huge chunks of profit to its makers. Talking about its first Wednesday collection, the film is going to remain strong and expected to earn around Rs. 16 crores. Now, in the case of major films, deviation from normal trending is expected and the end result may differ.
