Tiger Zinda Hai is still active at the box office even in its 6th week. The film is earning good collection and is on the verge of becoming the third highest Hindi earner of all time. On the other hand, Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar refuses to slow down in China. The film is on the verge of crossing Rs. 500 crores mark in just two weeks. Tiger Zinda Hai is doing well at the box office and has shown positive trending in its 6th week. The stronghold of the film is not only a good sign for Indian cinema but also a good lesson for other Hindi masala entertainment films. TZH ended the last year on a solid note and became the highest Hindi earner of 2017. Now, in this year, the film is breaking new records. Not many films manage to continue their strong performance for such long. But TZH is an exception to this.

And the second major reason is the Padmavat controversy. After doing a good show in the domestic market, Secret Superstar has maintained itself in the overseas too. The film not only performed well in its first week but also continued its superb performance in its second week. The total on Tuesday in the second week crossed Rs. 461 crores. With this pace, it would easily cross Rs. 500 crores mark at the box office. The emotional attachment of the Chinese people to the Indian films is the sole reason their super success.

Since the release of Padmaavat, all the holdover films except TZH fail to collect much money. 1921 movie which did well in its first and second week, faces stiff competition due to Padmaavat. In its third week, the movie earns around 65 lakhs and its total earning to settle around Rs. 15.60 crores.
