Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu started its box office journey with a decent collection but witnessed good growth on the first weekend. Vidya Balan proves that an actress can make the film perform well without having a slim body. With no other good Bollywood films, the film received not much competition and hence did good business at the box office.

The postponement of new releases also gave it a wonderful opportunity to do some magic at the box office. The only way it faces a competition is from the Hollywood releases, that too majorly from Justice League.
