Velaikkaran and Hello (Telugu) Collection Update – 1st & 2nd Day

Two Major Movies which released in the southern markets yesterday are Velaikkaran and Hello. Hello is a Telugu film starring Ajay, Akhil Akkineni and Jagapathi Babu. The film had opened with High expectations and the start was good. But the film slowed down towards the evening.

Hello (Telugu) Collections

The film opened with a weak Rs. 4.57 crores net collection on day 1. Saturday collection has shown excellent growth and will be in the range of touch 7 crores net most.

The Majority of the collection for this film is from Andhra where it has grossed over 9.5 crores(Gross) in 2 days. The film is doing decent in overseas markets too. Here is what the film has earned in various overseas territories.

• USA – Rs. 5 crores
• Australia – Rs 1 crore
• Middle East – Rs 2 crore

Overall, people are loving this film. The collections are solid and holding up very well. The critics and audience reviews are both positive for this film.

Velaikkaran Collection Update

Velaikkaran is the strongest film this weekend in the South. The film is doing fantastic collections and is the highest opening film for Siva Karthikeyan. It is one of the Top movies in Tamil Nadu and also in Malaysia this weekend. The film has taken a Massive opening.

The film started with Rs. 8.4 crores gross collection only in Tamil Nadu, which is Fantastic. Overall, Net collection for the first day of Velaikkaran in India stands at Rs. 6.5 crores net. First Weekend collection for Velaikkaran are likely to be around Rs. 22 crores net.

The film has opened well in USA and Australia. Collections from Overseas markets is expected to touch Rs. 10 crores gross by Sunday.

The Chances of Velaikaran doing 100+ crores gross collections look good if its able to maintain its pace throughout the extended Christmas weekend.
