Veteran actor Amrit Pal who is known to play the villain roles in numerous movies is no more. This actor passed away yesterday at 5.00 PM in the evening. According to his daughter, this actor was suffering from liver cirrhosis and was entirely bedridden for quite a few months. Amrit Pal has breathed his last at his home in Malad.
He started his career in Bollywood with the movie Jaal that featured Jeetendra and Sridevi in the lead roles and acted in more than 100 Bollywood movies. Apart from Jaal other popular movies in which the actor had acted the villainous roles are Kasam, Pyaar Ke Do Pal and Farishtay. Among all, Pyar Ke Do Pal movie is the one that gained much popularity and he offered notable performance in that. Pyar Ke Do Pal had Mithun Chakraborty and Poonam Dhillon in the lead role.
The actor was 76. So, in this year we have lost many of the renowned veteran actors like Om Puri, Vinod Khanna and now Amrit Pal. Not just Bollywood rather the Hollywood industry too lost renowned celebs like John Avildsen, the Rocky director very recently.
