The first trailer of director Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ is out. And as expected from Vishal’s movies, the trailer has created quite a storm on social media and fan pages. Seeing the first look, it’s clear why the fans went frenzy obsessing over the World War II based period drama. It has all the elements to glue the audience to their seats. Firstly, it is a comeback of Vishal as a director after ‘Haider’. Next, the powerful star cast makes the film more anticipated. ‘Rangoon’ features the love triangle of Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. And last but not the least, the dramatic backdrop of 1940s made the film a ‘must watch’.
The film seems to have a good pace and all the elements are perfectly aligned. Talking about the actors, Saif is classy in his aristocratic look while Shahid is all massy like a soldier. However, the true scene stealer is Kangana who is looking gorgeous on screen. She holds your gaze with her magnetic screen presence and power-packed dialogues. And for this film, she even pushed the envelope to a much highe level of boldness as she has gone almost frontal topless for a love-making scene with Shahid.
Releasing on February 24th, ‘Rangoon’ will bring back the memories of British India, and the film is expected to show the career best performance of every actor.
