According to some sources, Anil Kapoor would not be seen in the movie. He was not at all approached by the makers for the role, and not even for a cameo role. And he is pretty upset regarding the same. If sources are to be believed, according to the filmmakers, they want a younger looking actor to play the role in the movie. Despite having a great physique and young looks, according to them, Anil Kapoor does not fit in the role of this film.
Nayak was released in 2001. It was one of the mega-blockbusters of Anil Kapoor. Where the previous movie revolved around the political drama, its sequel would be completely different from the original film. Even Anil Kapoor had also stated earlier that Nayak 2 will be totally different from ‘Nayak’.
