The whole B-town came forward to stand by Sanjay Leela Banshali’s side after that unfortunate violence took place in Jaipur. SLB was shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ in Jaigarh Fort on 27th January while some activists of Rajput Karni Sena attacked the whole crew of Padmavati, slapped SLB and also damaged the shooting equipment claiming they are distorting the history.
The protesters also tore up SLB’s shirt and manhandled him which is really a matter of condemning and this incident is been condemned by the whole B-town while many of them took it to Twitter and microblogging site to express their sad feelings.
Shabana Azmi has said that the whole film industry should come forward and do all the things to ensure this reprehensible attack on Banshali become a flashpoint for this kind of goondagiri to stop.
Also, Nirmat Kaur, Preity Zinta, Ram Gopal Verma, Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar are among others who have condemned this violent attack on Banshali.
The reel life Padmavati Deepika Padukone has stated that she is in a state of shock and can assure that there is no distortion of the history at all in the movie.
