The shooting for Ittefaq remake is already started and now Sonakshi Sinha too has joined the shooting team. She is very excited about the movie and took it to Twitter to announce it. She has tweeted an image of clap board that shows the capturing date. This is the first time when Sonakshi Sinha will be seen with Sidharth Malhotra in a movie.
The original Ittefaq was released in 1969 directed by late Yash Chopra that was a big hit. The story revolved around a murder mystery and audiences accepted it greatly. The movie also bagged the Filmfare award for best director.
The remake version is being directed by Abhay Chopra, nephew of late Yash Chopra. Produced under Dharma Production and Red Chillies Entertainment Ittefaq remake will have various different climaxes to maintain the suspense which is needed in a mystery murder story.
Michael Luka, the German cinematographer is working on the remake.
Sidharth Malhotra stated earlier that the plot will have some changes definitely and also it will be a shorter film which will probably be ended in two hours. The movie is expected to release during the later half of 2017.
